PROPERTIES |
1) SL-1402 is a novolac type alkyl-phenol ¨C formaldehyde resin and can provide long-term effective tackiness, plasticity and softening properties to rubber compounds.
2) SL-1402 is a chemically modified para tert-butyl phenol formaldehyde resin. The tackifying property of SL-1402 resin is better than that of the conventional unmodified resins.
3) SL-1402 resin exhibits good scorch protection to rubber compounds and has no impact on compound¡¯s curing properties. It helps to maintain good physical and mechanical properties of rubber vulcanizates.
4) SL-1402 resin can be extensively applied to natural and synthetic rubbers, like SBR, BR, EPDM, and their blends to produce high-performance tires, convey belts, hoses, rollers, rubber plates, rubber inner liners, retread materials, wires and cables. This resin can also be used as tackifying agent in adhesives.
|
|
APPLICATIONS |
1) SL-1402 resin is preferably be added during the first stage of mixing to facilitate the uniform dispersion of this product into rubber compounds.
2) It is recommended to use SL-1402 resin at 2-5 phr loading. The rubber processing oil level in the compounds can also be reduced properly.
